What are the types of Diarrhoea?
There are three clinical types of diarrhoea:
- acute watery diarrhoea – lasts several hours or days, and includes cholera;
- acute bloody diarrhoea – also called dysentery; and.
- persistent diarrhoea – lasts 14 days or longer.
