How can I donate a bra?
You can donate your new or gently worn bras by sending them in or dropping them off at a location near you. Bras for a Cause is another organization happy to accept donated bras—as well as your “gently loved” swimsuits and lingerie.
How do I donate to Bras for a cause?
To make a donation in person, please contact us at (515) 418-3896 to make arrangements. *Bras for the Cause is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Contributions are tax deductible, including: cash donations; auction items; and gifts in-kind. Receipts will be provided upon request.
What can you do with a bra?
The Bra Recyclers give out gently used bras to women in need, and also take bras that are too worn to proper textile recycling facilities. Free the Girls works with women all over the world who’ve been freed from trafficking.
Can you give bras to charity shops?
Bras in ‘good but worn’ condition can be donated to an organisation such as Against Breast Cancer either directly or by one of their bra banks, or to a charity shop that accepts items of underwear.
Does Goodwill accept used undergarments?
Goodwill accepts clothing donations that are either new or gently used. Infant, children, teen and adult clothing are all acceptable for donation provided each item is clean and free of any stains, rips, tears or other damage. Used underwear are not accepted by Goodwill.

You can take your old or unwanted shoes and boots to most recycling centres, put them in a bring bank or donate them to a charity shop.
