Autonomous Systems – Challenges, Developments and Opportunities (Nov 26 & 27)

Overview
The capabilities of Autonomous Systems are growing: they can detonate unexploded bombs; provide care for the elderly and infirm; collect soil samples from hostile environments; and carry out significant surgical operations. The market for Autonomous Systems sector is poised for considerable growth; fuelled by the challenges of caring for a growing elderly population, increasing security threats to society, and coping with skills shortages.

This extensive 2 day event in Central London, structured around speaker presentations and discussions, is designed to bring together manufacturers, developers and researchers in the field of autonomous systems to discuss market requirements, new products and technology developments.

The event will be attended by senior commercial and technical people from the aerospace, automotive, healthcare, defence and environmental sectors to create a stimulating environment for new market opportunities and collaborations.

Speakers from a range of organisations, such as BAE Systems, Roke Manor and a selection of University departments, will describe the requirements of growing markets, latest products and the latest technical developments and there will be a real opportunity to discuss specific challenges and solutions.
